"MEGAN GROVE"
MOO: Hi Megan, Thanks for being our Model of the Month.
Megan: Thanks for the opportunity.
MOO: How old are you and how long have you been a modeling for?
Megan: I’m 18 at the moment and have been modeling for about 2 and a half years now.
MOO: Where are you from and how did you get into the world of modeling?
Megan: I’ve grown up a Brisbane girl and loved every minute of it. The beach, the bush and the city are all practically on my doorstep so I get to enjoy a little bit of everything. I had never really entertained the idea of being a model until one day people started coming up to me and telling me I should consider doing modeling. I don’t really know why, but one day on a whim I went into Dallys, and long story short, the next month I was on the catwalk in Sydney doing shows for Australian fashion week!
MOO: What attracts you to fashion?
Megan: I just love the fact that you can feel like you’re transformed into an entirely different person with a simple outfit change.
MOO: Define style on your terms?
Megan: I find style to be an expression of a person’s personality. Style can change day to day and there is no right or wrong, just different. It helps if it does look good though!
MOO: How do you describe your own personal style?
Megan: On my own I’m hopeless. Most of my style comes with help from my family. My mum has an amazing collection of jewelry which always helps tie my outfits together, and my sister always knows what to add and take away from an outfit to make it really stand out.
MOO: What item of clothing can’t you live without?
Megan: Definitely my jeans. I would live in them 24/7 if I could.
MOO: What CD is the backbeat to your life?
Megan: At the moment the best of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their songs have so much soul and meaning, it really gives you an amazing energy when you listen to them.
MOO: If your personality were that of an animal, what would you be?
Megan: Definitely a cat. My perfect day would be to lounge around all day in the sun, play around for a bit, eat a good meal, and then curl up to go to sleep. I’ve been told by some that I look like a cat too!
MOO: What is the most common fashion faux pas a man can commit?
Megan: Greased up hair and too much cologne is pretty bad. It’s great when done right, but too much is a total turn off. It’s the same principle with girls and makeup. Too much is worse than none at all.
MOO: What is a hands-down style secret that every man should know?
Megan: If you can find a happy medium between being well groomed but still looking masculine, you can pretty much own any look.
MOO: What is your favourite label on MaleOrderOnly.com?
Megan: I really like the T’s from ALTRU. Pretty stylish!
MOO: What pieces are a must-own for this month?
Megan: You can’t go wrong with a good pair of jeans and a few vintage pieces.
MOO: What is next for Megan?
Megan: In-between working and studying at uni, I think I might try to take some time off, travel overseas for a bit and see what modeling work I can pick up!
MOO: And finally how can someone book you for work?
Sarah: Just contact Dallys Models in Brisbane on 07 3221 1163 or Dallys .
